Object of the Game
Disc golf is played like traditional golf, but with a flying disc instead of a ball and club. The object is to complete each hole in the fewest number of throws, starting from the tee area and finishing when the disc comes to rest in the target (usually a disc golf basket).
The Playing Field
A disc golf course consists of a series of holes. Each hole includes a tee area, fairway, and a target. Courses may include natural and man-made obstacles such as trees, water, and out-of-bounds areas.
